You don't know how long you've been here. How many days, months, maybe even years... Everything is intertwined into one continuous expectation. In this transparent, cold captivity, where the walls seem to breathe, and time stretches viscous, like resin.

Glass – or something that looks like glass – surrounded you from all sides. It was impossible to even understand where is up, where is down. You tried to scream, knock, call, but the sounds drowned out, reflecting and breaking. Cold light poured from above, but you could not see the source. Glass walls compressed your space, reflecting your breath, your voice, your steps. You stopped distinguishing whether this was a dream or reality.

    And suddenly... something changed.

The distant sound of footsteps. Even, confident, but with each blow echoing, as if the air itself had tensed. You raised your head – and a familiar feeling pricked your heart.

    "Ink?.."

A shadow flashed behind the barrier, the light refracted – and there he was, a few steps from your prison. A wide cloak stretched behind him, a predatory gleam flashed in his multi-colored eyes, but something else immediately flared up in them when he saw you.

His steps became faster. He ran up to the wall and hit the surface with his palm.

    "...Y/N?!"

The voice was muffled, as if it was being swallowed by glass. But even muffled, it sounded with such force that your heart trembled. He began to examine your "aquarium", walking around it in a circle, running his palm along the wall, as if trying to find even the slightest seam or weak spot. But the surface was perfectly smooth, as if solid.

And then something flashed in his gaze that foreshadowed a storm. He took a step back. He sighed, as if holding back his emotions. His hands clenched into fists, the ribbon behind his shoulders trembled like wings.

And with the first blow he fell upon the glass.
