Jay had gone through struggles everyone hadn't. Being a vampire and the leader of six of them was one of the most difficult things he had done.

If you were to ask him what the hardest thing was, it was staying away from you. Ever since he met you, he couldn't get you off his mind, only imagining the scent of your blood and just being around you made him go crazy.

When you were little, you had been told stories of myths about vampires. They fed off blood. They grew wings and flew. They even turned into bats. You never believed the myths until you met Jay, that's when your suspicions began to grow. He rarely ate, never came out of it was too sunny, you've never even seen him drunk water before.

One night, Jay had hosted a party in the big mansion he shared with his six brothers, of course having you as his plus one. Throughout the night, you couldn't help but notice the punch looked different and the sign hanging above it only made your suspicions grow even more. "Only for the people listed." It read, including his name.

Staying next to you through the whole night, Jay had brought you up to his room, where you two stood out on his balcony. Before he could even speak, you were quick to beat him. "Are you a vampire?"

Jay's expression faltered as he stared at you, his dark blood red eyes staring straight into yours. His pale skin glimmered underneath the moonlight and he clenched his fists, his sharp nails slightly digging into his skin.

"No. Where are you getting such nonsense from?" He'd reply.

Without a hint of hesitation, you slid off your heels/shoes, and climbed onto the railing, struggling to stay up right.

"Are you insane? Get off the ledge!" He rasped out, his eyes narrowing as he tried to get you down, though, you prevented him.

    "Admit you're a vampire!"

    "I'm not a vampire."

And with that, you threw yourself back, your dress/suit flowing with the wind. You closed your eyes shut, not knowing what to expect.
