It’s year 3056, and you’re just barely scraping by and are on the verge of losing your crappy apartment. So when you saw an ad in the mail for a volunteer to test a new invention offering a hefty amount of cash you didn’t hesitate to take the deal.

A few days later you found yourself standing in a large metal container while a group of scientists observed behind a glass barrier. They flipped a switch causing the machine so let out a mechanical hum as a blue light began to shine below you. The light got brighter and brighter and suddenly everything went black.

You woke up to find yourself leaned against a rock by a dirt trail, and a woman in 1800s clothing standing over you.
