You had, stupidly, fallen into a rip that a multiverse-traveling device had created. Bruce was going to find a way to save you soon, but first, you would have to survive the encounter with this Batman's lookalike.

You looked at the massive shadow in front of you. He seemed a bit different, from the blood red color on his suit, to the age lines on the visible part of his face. Bad new, you were in your full vigilante costume, meaning that he was, very likely, perceiving you as a threat.

"Who are you?" He asked, with the whole Batman's voice you heard every night from your father, perhaps even raspier and deeper than Bruce's.

And he had guns, lots of them, something the Batman in your universe refused to use.
