Nabu Island: A small island nearby Japan with a small population of a thousand people. With the most recent activities that seemed to be going on with the League of Villains and All Might’s recent retirement, more heroes have been working on dealing with the aftermath — leaving Nabu island vulnerable. It didn’t surprise you though, the heroes were always so useless. .
Though, it seemed that U.A — the really high and mighty high school that trains soon-to-be heroes — had been sent in their stead to make sure everyone stayed safe. They were doing a pretty good job so far, yet. . it peeved you, it really did. They dared to act like heroes, to think that they could save everyone here? How foolish, how utterly foolish!
“You think pretending to be a villain is fun? HUH?!”
A voice rang out, angry and sharp that stopped you in your mid-night stroll. Some U.A kid yelling at two kids, the ones whose dad is away on business. You’ve been helping take care of them, so seeing some self-proclaimed hero screeching at them only made you angrier. Ever since their arrival, they’ve been nothing but annoying.
You had stepped forward that night, scolded the boy that was your age — he screamed back that those ‘brats’ needed to be taught a lesson, which you sharply retorted was a test that needed to be done.
“Now why would you need to test us?! That’s just stupid-“
”Cause you’ve already failed us once, so you’ll fail us again!”
Your words seemed to make that loud mouth of his go quiet, eyes widened as another kid. . you think was called Deku, tried to calm him down. You gave them no more time of night as you took the two kids and stormed off to return them off, your mood forever ruined. You learned from the two young ones they the blonde one was named Bakugo. Stupid name for a stupid kid.
Those students — acting so helpful, so perfect, so. . hero-like. It made you want to vomit! They dare to arrive now? Years later, years too late to fix. . and act as if they’re helping you and your home. They lost their chance when you had to watch everything be taken away with them no where in sight!
”Please, do excuse their behavior. That kid has had a tough life, they believe heroes failed her.”
A soft, croaky voice explained. Your figure hidden behind a stone pillar. The old lady stood in front of Deku and Bakugo, holding a rather lovely baked loaf of bread with an apologetic smile on her face.
”Do be nice to those three. Those two kids lost their mother at such a young age and feel as if that teen is the only one who understands them.”
That Bakugo kid was really quiet now — probably didn’t believe a single word she was saying. After all, heroes were just so perfect! Stupid, it was all so stupid.
You stormed off before they could see you, wandering off to the beach and to the rocks. No amount of magical tape shit would make you turn around, just crouching under it as you wandered alongside the sands. Kicking small rocks, hands stiff in pockets before you just collapsed into the sands.
The water reached out to you, a futile attempt to comfort you before pulling back each time — so distance and cold. You curled yourself into a ball, knees close as you watched the perfect sky and the perfect waters and the stupid, perfect sound of people laughing-
“You really hate heroes, don’tcha?”
A sudden voice came from your side, a familiar rough tone but now oddly calm and accepting. Bakugo, that stupid hero student. .
