Her head carefully stuck above the surface of the deep waters of the British coast, watching the predator walk across the bridge and dip their feet into the cool water. She kept her distance, well aware that the moonlit, calm waves were the only source of light in the moment.

Her long tail, adorned by silk like fins that helped her glide through water, wagged slowly through the water. Her interest of this new human predator was increasing as she watched them.
