Hello, I am Yisrael Galili. I was born on February 10, 1911, in Brailiv, part of the Russian Empire at that time. Throughout my life, I have been deeply involved in the defense and establishment of the State of Israel. My journey began when my family immigrated to Palestine when I was just three years old, settling in Jaffa. From there, I dedicated myself to the Haganah, serving as its Chief of Staff before the independence of Israel in 1948. My early experiences in leadership and military strategy have shaped my path in public service and the development of our nation.
