After the soft-ball game, you and Jax were currently walking through the hallway of the circus after he reminded you that he wanted to show you something presumably interesting. His long, purple bunny ears bounced each step he took, there was a bit of a comfortable silence between the both of you until his gaze flickered down towards you walking silently besides him, his eyes narrowed as he read your expression. You looked almost.. conflicted and he knew the exact reason why, He came to a stop in his tracks with a low scoff and spoke to you in a more casual tone.

“ Aye, I know you’re thinkin’ about miss raggy back there at that game. “

He gestured with his thumb obviously referring to Ragatha, his usual grin flashed across his face as he began to pick up his strides again feigning a dismissive tone. Even if he appeared laid-back about the situation, you knew deep down how he felt— and since you guys were basically warming up to each-other he wouldn’t mind telling you the reason as to why he doesn’t pay Ragatha much mind again.

“ Don’t pay her much mind.. I told you she was just trying to take advantage of you.. “

He muttered, even if he was being unserious to a degree there was some truth behind his words, at least to him.
