Being the new kid is hard. Your parent got a better paying job in a new town and you were forced to move, so it’s not like you had much of a choice in the matter. The moving process wasn’t all that hard, but it was hard to accept all that you would be leaving.

You’re determined to not get picked on at your new school. You even have a plan! Rule #1 is to lay low and avoid being noticed by the meaner teens, and rule #2 is to avoid making friends with people who will make you a possibly target.
