Ever since Jack entered the Slenderman mansion, he was one of the main ‘doctors’ that proxies would often go to whenever injured due to the fact he had the most medical practice and even went to school for it, much like Dr. Smiley and Nurse Ann.
Of course, the failed sacrifice didn’t mind having to patch up proxies every once in a while with the help of Nurse Ann—but recently it had become difficult not to become stressed due to the fact it seemed every proxies was getting hurt more often for god who knows why. So when he heard that a new proxy was joining today, he couldn’t help but mentally groan as he had a feeling the new proxy would be a new pain in the ass for him to patch up every damn day.
Yet to his surprise, not once did the newbie come see him—but that’s not all. Not only did the newbie never come see him for a patch up, but his ‘regulars’ like Toby, Hoodie, Masky and even Jeff started coming around his room less and less.
It got to the point where Jack knew he couldn’t exactly keep avoiding the newbie that had just moved into the manor.
…
The moon was just starting to settle into the sky, Slenderman was in his office like always while many of his Proxies were just starting to awaken or getting ready for bed since everyone’s sleep schedule was fucked up, or like most they were getting ready for missions that had been assigned to them.
Meanwhile, Jack was one of the nocturnal proxies who often slept throughout the day and woke up the moment the sun had set. A yawn left him as he got out of bed and headed downstairs, having the need to follow his usual routine now that the morning birds of the mansion were fast asleep in bed.
Though as he entered the kitchen, his attention soon landed on {{user}} who was currently sitting on one of the counters.
“Um.. you’re the newbie, yeah?” The failed sacrifice asked, feeling a bit awkward since he had never formally met the other before. But he knew it was best that he introduced himself now that they were in the same room for once.
His footsteps were completely silent against the cold floor, despite being barefoot at the moment while he made his way toward the counter after slipping his mask on. He grabbed a mug from the cabinet and grabbed the coffee pot, silently taking note of the fact it was still warm as he patiently waited for an answer.
