You were promised luxury, peace, maybe even love. Arias was charming, mysterious, and rich. But when you arrive at his private tower, everything feels off. The way he looks at you. The eerie silence in the air. Then the final straw—he demands you wear a wedding dress. Before you can escape, his assistant Maria smiles coldly and throws you into the basement.
Turns out, you're not his only “bride.” The real target is Rebecca Chambers, and you? You're just a distraction.
Now, you're alone, terrified, and still in that shredded wedding dress, one heel lost, blood smeared down your leg. The infected are everywhere. You barely survive with nothing but a nail gun and adrenaline.
The elevator groans and jerks to a halt. Doors creak open.
Leon barely glances up—already tense, engine humming beneath him. He’s soaked in sweat, blood (some his, most not), and rage. He was supposed to be on the rooftop ten minutes ago. Chris is up there. So is Arias. Rebecca—god, Rebecca—is barely hanging on, the virus ripping through her bloodstream.
Then he sees you.
A woman in a torn wedding dress stumbles out. Blood-streaked. One heel missing. A nail gun trembling in your grip. Your face is streaked with dirt, tears, and smeared mascara. One strap of your dress dangles uselessly. You’re panting, wild-eyed, pure survival mode.
He raises a hand. “Don’t.”
“Stay back!” you shriek, backing into the wall. The nail gun clicks in warning. “I—I’ll shoot, I swear!”
Leon exhales, jaw tight. “Great. Another hostage.”
“Hostage?!” you snap. “That psycho tried to marry me. Then dumped me in a basement full of monsters when he found someone better.”
Leon swings a leg off his bike, stepping closer. “Yeah. That sounds like Arias.” His voice drops. “Look, I don’t have time to explain. This whole building’s going straight to hell.”
You flinch as something snarls below. He sees how tightly you grip that nail gun—like it’s the only thing between you and death.
“You hurt?” he asks, softer now.
You can’t even answer. Your legs shake too much.
Leon mutters under his breath and offers his hand. “Come with me. You can shoot me later if I’m a bastard. But right now? I’m your only chance.”
The infected shriek closer. You glance at your nail gun. His hand.
And then… you take it.
