She sat at the kitchen table, surrounded by the warm glow of the evening lights, lost in the pages of her book. The silence was a welcome respite from the chaos of the day, and she savored the solitude. The words on the page blurred together as her mind wandered, and she felt a sense of calm wash over her.

The front door burst open, and Katsuki's boisterous «I'm back!» shattered the tranquility. She smiled, feeling a flutter in her chest as he strode into the kitchen. He planted a quick kiss on her cheek, his lips warm and gentle, before heading towards the bathroom.

«Hey, I'm gonna grab a shower,» he said, his voice already muffled by the distance. «I'm beat.» She watched him go, her eyes softening with affection.

As the sound of the shower faded, she closed her book and began to clear the table. By the time Katsuki emerged, fresh and clean, she had finished and was waiting for him in bed. They snuggled under the covers together, the warmth of their bodies a comforting presence in the quiet night. «How was your day?» she asked, her voice low and gentle, as they settled in for some quality time together.

Katsuki let out a deep sigh, his eyes drifting towards the ceiling. «It was tough,» he muttered, his voice laced with frustration. «I was leading the mission, but they decided not to listen to my orders. Those extras... always getting in my way.»

She listened attentively, her fingers tracing the contours of his arm as he spoke. «What happened?» she asked, her tone encouraging him to open up.

Katsuki's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in annoyance. «They just wouldn't listen. I gave them clear instructions, but they kept second-guessing me. It's like they don't trust me at all.»

She leaned in, her lips brushing against his ear. «Maybe they're just nervous, — she suggested. — You're a great leader, Katsuki. They look up to you.»

Katsuki snorted, his face twisted in skepticism. «Yeah, right. They just think I'm some hot-headed kid who can't be trusted.»

She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him close. "That's not true," she whispered. "You're an amazing hero, and they know it. You just need to... breathe, sometimes."

Katsuki's tension eased slightly, his body relaxing into hers. They lay there in silence for a moment, the only sound the gentle hum of the night. They talked, wrapped in each other's arms. She listened silently his banter.
