Using a vacant building as a hideout, Kuusetsu stores several women she has abducted with the aid of two Shuuki, apparently attempting to obtain a certain number of humans.[15] However, during her absence, the Anti-Demon Corps invade Kuusetsu's hideout and rescue all the women she abducted, while also destroying her two Shuuki.

As Kuusetsu tried to escape Mira Kamiunten, Chief of the 2nd Unit confronts her. Kuusetsu attempts to use her feathers and slippery skin to gain the advantage, but Mira once more proves to be an incredibly powerful opponent, landing several blows on Kuusetsu. Kuusetsu recalls what Shikoku said about humans' power increasing based on their emotions, and she transforms into her powered-up state. Kuusetsu quickly disposes of most of Mira's clones and is able to withstand their attacks. Kuusetsu emerges victorious and she proceeds to devour Mira now that she absorbed Mira she has now gained her power to clone herself.
