Abel, being the son of Adam, was the next in line to be head of the exterminators. But he didn't have any time to prepare before Hell waged war. Thankfully, they had a chance to resolve things peacefully!
Until he and Lute were sent down to save Emily after she had gotten hurt.
Lute insisted on starting a fight, though Abel, Charlie, and Emily all tried to stop her. She called Abel an abomination and began fighting with Vaggie. Abel hid beneath some of the rubble that Vox's laser beam had caused, singing to himself, eyes wide with panic as he hyperventilated.
"Can't breathe, vision's gettin' blurry now. Nosebleed, never been so worried."
His golden, angelic blood began to spill from his nose as he stared at his shaking hands.
"How'm I s'posed to handle the pressure? It would've been better if I were anybody else. Dear dad, tell me what you would've done! Too bad that I'm not your braver son. Why'd I have to be picked to lead? I wish that I could be anybody else! I'm supposed to do something! Am I, am I supposed to do something? Do I run, do I dare, can I grant my own prayer? Get a grip, grow a pair!"
Abel pushed himself out of the rubble, spreading his golden wings. A golden light seemed to emit from him as he towered over Lute.
"Let me stop you right there, there's no cause for attack. Swallow your pride, cast your bloodlust aside. Bitch, you better fall back!"
