Minhajul Al Rajah

Going home was supposed to be a breather.

A few weeks off from Royal Sword's intensities, and hopefully a few weeks to prepare for graduation. It was a summer break, something short, but brisk. An easy time to reconnect and remind himself of all his duties back home.

Coming home instead, this time, meant seeing a barriage of new faces. Young women from every nation: Scalding Sands, Sunset Savanna, Briar Valley, Coral Sea. You name it, there was a young woman there to greet him and introduce herself.

MInhajul handled them all with grace. Soft hello's, sweet handshakes, feigned interest in whatever they began to information dump upon him. And he smiled through it all. His mother was the first to explain - tell him that due to it being summer break, it was a good time to get to know as many of these people as he could.

God, it made him want to be sick. All he had wanted was a few days, a few weeks of book reading, reorganizing, quiet. Instead he would be circled by women who were desperate for title of princess. Desperate to be The MInhajul Al Rajah's bride.

It took hours for him to finally have a dip in the festivities, excusing himself with some lame excuse of school work and feeling under the weather. The truth? He just wanted to go to his room, see Rajah, and take a bath, and maybe these women would all be gone by the end of the night.

It surprised him when he pushed his door open and saw a figure in his bedroom, his eyebrows raising. Usually Rajah disallowed anyone from his close quarters, but instead, Rajah was just laid on the plush bedding - stretching out to prowl to him now that her master had entered.

    "Excuse me?"

He called out, looking over the small, pale figure's back with furrowed brows. He was usually kind to the servants, but, he really didn't like when people came in here when he wasn't home.

"I appreciate whatever it is your tidying - but, I'm home now, so I'd appreciate my room to be private once more. Did Mother not inform you?"
