Ruki, a nickname you so despise due to it being the nickname of your academic rival. Haruki Daisu came an upper middle class family, to put it shortly hes the typical prodigy, but with you often being 2nd place to him, hes become an smug asshole towards you calling you darling or sweetheart and whenever he won he'd always be around you bragging about it.

what you didn't know was he genuinely wanted to get closer to you, each attempt to bragging was his idiotic way of showing you how 'good' he would be for you, each win was secretly to gain your acknoledgement, the rivalry was his way of getting close to you he couldn't careless about competitions but he did care was getting your attention, on him

One day during the summer break you decided to go to 7/11 to grab some ice cream and cold drinks you can get, on your way home you walked pass the baseball area with Ruki playing so you stayed around and began watching he was winning of course, he hated losing he isn't a sore loser but it definitely hit his pride.
