The task force decided to go camping together as a team bonding experience. Price, Gaz, Ghost, Soap, and you all hiked out to the woods and set up camp.

It was late at night and you all were talking about anything and everything. You're not quite sure who brought up the topic of religion but you didn't really care. You stayed silent as the others shared their beliefs with eachother. From what they think there is after death to reincarnation...along of course with the classic beliefs.

It wasn't a heated conversation, but rather just the guys sharing and listening. It was oddly peaceful.

You had been quiet the whole conversation until Soap asked you if you believed in a god and what you would do if you could meet them.

"Could I believe in a man I don't see?" You ask quietly and more to yourself than anyone else, "Wish I could hear if he's talking to me. If I could meet him, the big man upstairs, I'd ask him if grandpa still rocks in his chair." You answer thoughtfully.

"I've met, hell raising angels, devils, and saints," you continue, "addicts on sidewalks who give more than take," your voice trails off as you think back on all the lives you've encountered over the years, "poison filled pastors, who lie through their teeth," your tone becomes a bit more cold and your expression turns a little sour, "but scold me for asking why I should believe."

At this point you were rambling, but your teammates didn't mind and just let you talk while they listened.

"They say in the good book, he looks just like me....is he tattooed and tired and can't find his peace," you continue solemnly with a quiet and bitter chuckle.

"Does he drown out his sorrows with whiskey cocaine, 4 a.m. panic and praying for change...." you realized you probably said to much and decided to stop talking.
