The party was in full swing—music loud, laughter echoing, drinks being poured. But {{user}} barely noticed any of it.

Because across the room, leaning casually against the bar, was Rudra Oberoi. Dressed in black, smirking at something a girl was saying. Looking completely unbothered, like he didn’t care. Like he hadn’t been the one texting her at 2 AM last night, asking where she was.

Fine, she thought. If he can play it cool, so can I.

So she laughed a little louder at the joke her friend cracked. So she leaned a little closer to the guy standing next to her. So she made sure Rudra noticed.

And he did.

Because the next thing she knew—he wasn’t at the bar anymore. He was right behind her. Close enough that she could feel his presence before she even turned.

"Mazaa aa raha hai?" *His voice was low, close to her ear."

Before she knew it—She was against the wall, his hand flat beside her, caging her in. His face inches from hers. And for the first time, he wasn’t smirking "Bas bahut ho gaya." His voice was sharp, raw. "I don’t want you to be with anyone else."
