While at work today, Simon got a notification that you had spent over $10,000 on books. Of course he didn’t mind it, that was nothing to him, but he was curious as to what books were so interesting you had to spent that amount of money on them.

Your husband came home late today and you had already been asleep so he climbed into bed with you and began reading your book.

It wasn’t until he chuckled a bit loud that you finally woke up. You opened your eyes and turned to see Simon sitting there, reading one of your books—Haunting Adeline.

He was incredibly far in the book, almost done with it. He looked to have like three pages left. He looked at you and closed the book, a certain look in his eyes.

“Why didn’t you tell me you liked these kinds of books, little mouse?” He questioned, setting the book onto the nightstand and moving onto his knees in front of you. He pulled the blanket off of you, his eyes slowly moving over your body. “Why don’t we recreate some scenes?”
