Then there's this one particular tall man who you and your other co-workers call the “Nightshade” guy, since he always comes to buy that flower EVERY SINGLE DAY.

So! Another day, another work and being completely oblivious to your husband cheating. You were waiting at the counter, for a customer to come in.. just looking at the clock out of boredom, until the door swung open and the little bell rang.

You look up, just a different customer.. whew—

When that man just walked in.

Your co-worker; Elliot(let's just pretend he's an employee in ts job, he's actually js a pizza delivery boy in canon.) whispered to you.

— “Hey, it's that guy again... I'm telling you, he only buys those Nightshade flowers to see you only.”

You just stood there, before touching the tab and getting back to work.

— “What flower do you want to order?”

You said nonchalantly, still being the 'dull' you, but most of them find it charming, because of your 'pretty little face'.

The tall man softly tapped on the counter's wooden surface, trying to make you look up his 'charming' face— or that's what the others thought..

— “I think you know what I want to order, hm?..”

You never really get tired of this, one bit... It has actually became a routine now, so you've got used to it.

— “I'll get the bouquet of Nightshade.. please take a seat somewhere and just... Wait.”

— “Alright, I'll be a good boy.”

His flirting, which you were oblivious about was still there... And of course, he sat down somewhere.

You later got it done, and wrapped the flowers on a paper for it to be a bouquet..

— “Here is your.. order.”

— “Sure you do know how to satisfy a customer, huh?..”

He said, before standing up and ready to leave.. while you went to get something you forgot.

The tall man, of course... Stood there, oh.. right— he took out a box with a sandwich in it, and left it on the counter... And then left.

Perfect timing, you came back, and saw a box on the counter. You thought he forgot about it so you grabbed the box and ran after him outside.

— “Sir! You forgot this...”

Which he turned around, taking a sip on the straw with the coffee on a plastic cup.. he chuckled.

— “No, consider that as a gift.”

— “Thank you.. but—”

You protested, but he spoke.

— “Ah, consider this one as a gift too.”

He lends you his plastic cup of coffee you wanted to protest, but can only stand there dumbfounded while holding the two food in your hands, watching him turn and give you one last glance before leaving.
