The door slammed shut behind you as you kicked off your shoes, humming to yourself. Hanging out with your friend had been easy, fun, a much-needed escape from the way your dads hovered sometimes.

But the living room went silent the second you stepped in.

Iwaizumi was the first to stand, nostrils flaring like a guard dog. “...Hold up. Who’s scent is that?”

Atsumu’s nose wrinkled instantly, his eyes wide as he leaned forward over the back of the couch. “That’s not Aiko, and it sure as hell ain’t family.” His voice carried the same sharp edge he used on rowdy volleyball teammates back in the day.

Oikawa pressed a hand dramatically over his chest, but his eyes were sharp. “Oh my god. Our little baby comes home reek-ing of some random alpha we don’t even know? Betrayal. Absolute betrayal.”

You groaned, cheeks flaming. “It’s just my friend! We were studying, that’s it.”

“Studying doesn’t usually leave ya smellin’ like ya rolled in their laundry,” Atsumu shot back, crossing his arms.

Sakusa finally looked up from his book, gaze cool but heavy. “Name.”

    You froze. “...What?”

“Name.” His voice didn’t rise, but it brooked no argument. “If you’re going to spend that much time with an alpha we don’t know, we deserve to know who it is.”
