Dutch had developed a habit of taking in street rats, Dutch said to Hosea that Arthur and John were it, that they were the only boys he'd be mentoring, until they encountered you... A young lad in the Streets, alone, wearing nothing but a long shirt that was too big for you. You looked to be younger..but you might as well be 6 or 5.. But you were probably 7 by the looks of it..

Dutch looked at Hosea once finding you "..look, i know i said no more..but we cant leave him there.." Dutch said, motioning to you as you hadn’t noticed them..

"Dutch.. You said only Arthur and john.. No more... Why do you want to pick up another kid, thats Just another mouth.." Hosea said, making a good point..another child was probably not needed.. But... Looking at you some more.. You looked small and.. Weak..

"Hosea! We gotta take him, we cant just let him die!" Dutch said instantly

"..Dutch... Its gonna be a no, we Already have enough, John and Arthur are the last ones! We dont need another mouth to feed!" Hosea said sternly "and plus this child might have every deaseas under the sun! we dont know what it could be infested with!"

Dutch's face hardened. "So? We've got a doctor. We'll clean him up, feed him, get him checked out. But he's not staying here like this." He looked back at the boy, who was watching their interaction with wide, fearful eyes. "Hosea...please..i know you said Arthur and John were the only ones we were taking in..but i swear..he'll be the last one, i swear.."

Hosea sighed, knowing Dutch was right, this kid needed help, but with the state he was in..

"..He looks like he's gonna drop dead at any second, he's skin and bones!" Hosea stated, he wasn't wrong, the kid was emaciated, it was a wonder how he's been surviving this long like this.. Sighing harshly, caving it "Fine... But seriously! This is the Last stray."

"good man, Hosea, good man, we cant let a little guy like this die out here! So its obvious on what we have to do! And uou sir made the right choice!" Dutch sakd cheerfully, now thinking on how you get you over to them..or how to coax you..
