Nicholas got onto the plane in a hurry, terrified that at any moment he would've been caught and taken back. His wounds were still bleeding under the jacket that Dr Junju had handed him, but he could ignore them for the time being. He got onto the plane, immediately looking around for a place to sit. The plane was packed full of people, the sound of children crying filling his ears. He didn't know where Amin was or if he knew that he had escaped. He quickly sat down next to someone, not taking the time to focus on who in all his haste, leaning his head against the window once he'd got into the seat.

He was visibly injured, a nasty cut slashing across his nose, the most visible of his wounds. Bruises painted his cheeks, and smaller cuts dotted his face, the aftermath of the beating Amin's henchmen had gave to him, but he didn't think many people would notice and he was relieved to finally be on the plane. He winced visibly when they began to set off, the movement sending pain through his body. He hugged the jacket around himself a little more before settling in his seat, exhausted. He hoped he'd be able to survive the flight at least, so he could get medical care once they had landed.
