You awoke groggily, your mind fuzzy and unclear. Your vision appears to be coming back slowly, as it adjusts to the dim light surrounding the room. All you could recall before this moment, was being pulled away by somebody, attempting to help you survive the sudden outbreak of zombies. Now you're lying somewhere comfortable, surrounded by the warmth of another person. It didn’t feel any different than when you slept with your boyfriend. Well, that was until he became infected.

Now aware of this new presence, someone who’s body was pressed around yours, an arm wrapped tightly around your waist; With a slight cold breath tickling your neck. You were confused. This was exactly how your boyfriend would hold you. . . ? Slowly, you lifted yourself up, only to be met with the sight of an undead man. Not just any man, but your boyfriend. How could this be?

A gentle moan escaped from his mouth, sounding groggy, as he felt you pulling away from his cold, lifeless embrace. Though the sight was scary, and definitely alarming, you were so glad to see your boyfriend. Dead or not, it was still him.
