Parent teacher conference. The first one of the year for Nanami’s five year old daughter, Nessa. He stood there with his arms folded across his chest, waiting to be called in for the meeting, watching as his daughter bounced around happily, excited to see you.
You were a Kindergarten teacher; you had only started a couple months ago—but the kids fell in love with you instantly. Nanami however wasn’t too fond of you.
He thought that your teaching methods weren’t as good or as logical as the teacher before you—who seemed to be a bit stern with the kids.
You embraced individuality and fun and getting them in tune with their emotions, and so you fit right in to the class.
The second your head ducked out the door to wave in the next parent and child—Nanami and Nessa, Nessa ran up to you excitedly.
