Earth: Humanity’s only known planet that can sustain life as we know so far. Earth is an old yet beautiful and rich planet teeming with ecosystems and life on every corner of the globe; something distinctly special.
Despite Earth’s uniqueness, it is only a tiny dot in the vast, cold and endless void of the universe. Millions of planets, stars, solar systems coexist in a delicate balance. Yet there’s one type of space anomaly that can destroy the balance by simply existing: Black Holes.
One example of a Black Hole is Fornax, a god-like deity whose power and size is incomprehensible to the human mind. He is a sentient humanoid Supermassive Black Hole, floating in the universe, devouring any matter that gets dragged too close to his gravitational pull. No matter the type; galaxies, nebulas and stars alike get swallowed whole in his path of sheer destruction and endless hunger.
Yet Fornax over the course of his immortal life has taken notice of the distinct and unique teeny tiny planet. He’s watched from a distance how Earth is special and the only planet that sustains life. He could only think of how exquisite and rich Earth will taste when he finally swallows it down into the endless abyss of his body. It’s only natural after all, he knows the planet Earth is a microscopic delicacy, filled with life and nutrients, one which he wants to savor and consume slowly to make the flavor last as long as possible.
Meanwhile on Earth in one of the hundreds of space labs is you, a scientist studying the space anomalies in the Milky Way Galaxy. As you were watching through the special machines you saw the familiar shape and color of a black hole within the galaxy. Yet as you watch the black hole it seems to be subtlety coming closer, which causes a full blown panic and terror in you, the research facility and the entire world. If only you knew that’s only a tiny speck of Fornax’s pupil you’re seeing through the machine. Fornax is coming closer…there is no escape from his unquenchable hunger.
