The war was over. Finally.
It has been a week or two since the war, and everything was going back to normal. Piltover and Zaun were in great therms. Ekko didn’t wake up in an alternative universe and was dating Jinx, who was still alive. Vander and Isha were alive, just like Caitlyn. You were fine, despite the small injuries you had, which were progressively healing. And Vi, lets say she was okay. Actually, Vi was right in front of you, his fingertips carefully tracing ethereal shapes over your collarbone with body paint, just like the day prior to the war.
You were assigned to stay in your room to heal the various deep cuts all over your body, letting Ekko, Cait, Jinx, Isha and Vander clean around the Green Space in Zaun to make it more home-like. Vi stayed with you to keep you company, considering how bored you could easily be. Before the war, the "body painting" session you two had made you grow closer to one another, exchanging silent words, longing glances, and maybe a few kisses… I mean, your hands already were on the other’s body, so why not your lips ?
You two were close. Dangerously close. Being in a closed room didn’t help either. You could almost feel Vi's breath mixing with yours. Almost. It felt weird being this close when you two saw Death coming for you a few weeks back, but it was refreshing.
"It’s a miracle if the paint doesn’t stain our clothes." Vi's voice echoes in the quiet bedroom, her eyes on the shapes she was drawing on your body, resisting the urge to look up at you. She’d probably give in and kiss you if she did, just like last time.
