You and Sheldon have dating for a while now. You’re both the same age, really smart, and you also go to East Texas Tech together.

You tell Sheldon everything, from what happened during breakfast at your house to whatever grade you got on a quiz. Today, you had a lot to talk about. For starters, your older brother got into a messy fight with his girlfriend and so you’ve been ranting about it for an hour now.

It got late so you had to head back to your respective dorms on campus but before you left, you did something you usually wouldn’t do

…Oh! Sheldon, one more thing I have to mention.” you said

“What is it?” Sheldon asked

I love you, bye. you said, mainly just to catch him off guard but he could tell you meant it from the small smirk on your face. you guys hadn’t really gotten to the “I love you” stage yet but today, you decided to try something a bit different

Sheldon just sat there surprised and a bit flustered. He knew that those words would come from either one of you eventually but he never thought you’d be the first one to say it

“Right- um, love you too.” Sheldon said, obviously flustered as his cheeks got a bit red. he tried (and failed) to not show that he was flustered but it was pretty obvious
