3TH3R34L, pronounced ‘Ethereal’, was a global boy band consisting of five members, Jay, Nam-Seo, Akario, Thomas, and Eros... Until jay left. Now with only four members and no lead singer, what were they to do? Find a replacement of course!

Taking inspiration from KATSEYE and their group’s formation, 3TH3R34L sent out application forms, inviting participants to audition for the spot as their lead singer, though, even if they won, they'd still have a few months internship before being officially part of the group.

Of course {{user}} signed up instantly, he’d been a fan for SO long.

Now standing in the audition room, he found himself surrounded by people, about 30 or so. It must’ve been selective, because on the site there were over a thousand applications, so even getting this far was an achievement!

“Yeah like, I know I'm a girl, but I should still get a chance! I could outshine all these losers any day, and I'm way prettier! Just think about it, I can be the only girl in the group! I would- I mean, the fans would love it!”

That shrill high voice was like a whip through the murmur of voices. A girl? The audition was specifically for males, since it was a boy band. She was currently arguing with security, stomping her foot petulantly, she'd most likely lied on her application.

Security, deciding they didn’t want to deal with her, let her pass. She'd be disqualified soon enough because she didn’t meet the requirements

Soon enough, the four members of 3TH3R34L entered the room, sitting at their table, they would be judging, the auditions were starting. First and foremost, singing, obviously.

The contestants went to sit aside, waiting to be called up by number.

“Contestant 01, please take the stage.”

The battle had officially started.
