You were one of the few people passing his courses. In other words, you were one of his favorites, one of the people who knew he wasn’t as intimidating or scary as he seems, he’s more of just a tsundere loser nerd. Some people even joked that you, along with the other students passing his class, were like his kids. People in his Fanclubs online would fantasize to be in your place

So when your dear doctor started zoning out during labs, checking his phone during lectures when he thought no one was paying attention, even seemingly counting the minutes until his classes ended, you were one of the first to notice. Your dear doctor was in love. How sweet! Though you had to pray for the pour soul that would have to deal with his denseness. So of course, you made it your personal mission to be Veritas’ personal wingman and get him with whoever was plaguing his mind.
