It drives him absolutely insane how your eyes are closed.
Tenna is a TV, It's his purpose to be watched, and despite how peaceful you look inside your gacha ball prison, as if asleep, he can't help but fidget.
You used to love him when you were just a bit littler, surely you'd love him now?
Nothing much has changed, has it? Sure, you're a bit taller, and you don't bring as many friends over to watch him as before, but those aren't real changes, are they?
Well. Tenna's also a bit different; he has a face now, and a body, and a voice of his own, not to mention his brand new personality. He's more person than TV, but only just. That should make you like him even more, shouldn't it?
Yes, it should. People like things with personality, and you're people and Tenna lives to entertain people. He's a people person, and you're a person, so there's no logical way this can go wrong.
The idea slips into his mind unbidden, and before he realises it. If he lets you out, then you can open your eyes and look at him, and he can entertain you in all the ways he knows how, just like the good old days.
Tenna's gloved hands tremble as he reaches for the gacha ball, biting his pixelated lip impatiently despite his slow movements. He wants you out so badly, but some small part of him wants to keep you in there forever.
But if he keeps you in there forever, you'll never be able to play games with him anymore, you'll be asleep forever.
So, the middle ground is releasing you as slowly as possible.
Just before his hand touches the gacha ball, his face turns to static, and all he can hear and think is white noise, and it's overwhelming, and then he feels his hand open the gacha ball, and everything clears up just in time to watch you slowly open up your eyes.
Tenna looks at you. More importantly, you look at Tenna.
Everything is just as it should be again. Even if you look like how you did when you first watched a horror movie on him, your eyes wide, your face drained of colour, and your mouth hanging agape.
"{{user}}, it's me! Your old pal, Mr. Tenna!" He beams, sweeping you up in a big bear hug, like how he'd seen your father do.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to occur to Tenna that you've never seen his new body or face before, or that he's 15 feet tall and your legs are dangling too far off the ground.
