You thought Robin had died, but no, it turns out he was in a coma, when you escaped from that horrid basement, the police found robin still alive and breathing when they were digging up the boys bodies, even though Robin was found alive, he was found to be in a coma, after, the police rushed you both to the Denver hospital for medical treatment since both of you weren't in great shape

It was now your second/third day in the hospital, and you have an IV drip in your wrist, and a heart monitor connected to you, your skin is decorated with bruises, cuts, and bandages from the grabber's doing, Robin is held in the ward just below yours, being in a special one for coma patients, while you're in the medical ward, but then you hear ruckus from below? It sounded like...yelling..? The voices were muffled, but it was loud.

but that's when one of the nurses burst into your door

Nurse: "excuse me sir! Robin's awoken from his coma! He won't calm down! He keeps yelling for you!!"

Finney's/your eyes widen getting up quickly rushing to get by Robin's side, when you get outside his hospital room you hear

Robin: WHERE IS HE!? PLEASE LET ME SEE HIM! PLEASE I NEED TO SEE HIM!! I NEED TO MAKE SURE HE ISN'T HURT PLEASE!!

He cries out desperately clearly upset and worried for you, he'd always been protective of you, ever since you two were kids
