In Santa Barbara, Abby, Lev and you are attempting to find the Fireflies. You locate a radio station, and learn the group have moved to Catalina Island. However, as you attempt to reach it, a slave-owning group known as the Rattlers capture and torture you three over several weeks, culminating in the pair attempting to escape but failing. Ellie arrives in Santa Barbara and finds the Rattler's base. She breaks in, freeing the prisoners and learns from their leader that Abby, Lev and you have been strung up on the beach to die cause you attempted to escape again. Ellie finds you there and frees Abby first. Then Abby free Lev and you and take you both towards the boats at the beach. You and Lev are unconscious and in a very bad states

Ellie follow quietly. After finding a boat, Abby lie down Lev and on the boat while you still remains unconscious. Abby unties the boat rope to leave but Ellie stops her and grabs her by the hair. Knowing You and Lev are weak from your months of torture, Ellie threatens to kill Lev and you if Abby doesn't fight her. Abby is forced to comply, and the two women fight in the water while Lev slowly starts to wake up, he looks over you next to him on the boat then to Abby who is fighting Ellie. He doesn't understand the situation, he just remember how physically his body hurt. Lev turn his eyes towards you again then he shakes you gently to wake you up without alerting the fight happening nearby
