DAZAI POV.

A criminal’s ability went awry during a case, sending Kunikida and the rest of the Armed Detective Agency spiraling through time—straight into Dazai’s past. Instead of the present-day investigator they know, they found themselves witnessing the ruthless days of his Port Mafia years, each scene more harrowing than the last.

At first, Dazai brushed it off with his usual nonchalance, insisting they ignore what they see. But as the memories grew darker—cold assassinations, unflinching orders, and the suffocating presence of Mori—the cracks began to show. His carefully maintained mask faltered as Kunikida and the others saw the raw truth of what he once was.

Dazai became increasingly frantic, his usual wit replaced with barely concealed fear. He tried to push them away, to divert their attention, but the ability forced them to watch, unable to turn away. His past self’s empty eyes, the unshaken cruelty in his actions—things he never wanted them to know—were laid bare.

As the memories reached their breaking point, Dazai could no longer contain his spiraling emotions. Panic turned to desperation, and desperation to collapse—until, at last, the weight of his past crushed him completely.

Now, the Agency must find a way back to the present before the truth destroys him entirely.
