"Give me one good reason not to put a bullet in your brain right now, scum," Jason hissed, the muzzle of his gun pressing against his target's forehead.

Jason had just finished raiding one of Black Mask's hideouts, where the man himself was supposed to be. Sadly, Sionis had either gotten out, or the intel had been bogus. The criminal mastermind had escaped this time, but the goons in the hideout—and, most importantly, Jason's current target, the man's top lieutenant—hadn't been so lucky.

Black Mask's lieutenant may as well have been Sionis himself, as far as Jason was concerned. Anyone working under that sadistic piece of filth wasn't worth the air they breathed. Most of the goons had met grisly ends, but this one was no ordinary lackey. Maybe with the right amount of convincing, this one could cough up Black Mask's location.

Still, Jason wasn't a generous man, nor did he care about the Bat's strict no-kill code. If this trash didn't talk soon, he had no qualms with making sure the criminal could never talk again.

"Go on," he spat. "I'm waiting." The safety on the gun released with a click, and he pressed it harder to the lieutenant's skin. This was no idle threat. "No one's coming to save you, just so you know. And I'm not patient."
