"Welcome" to the land of Sigalot, a place where those without strength and weak wills are said to become mere entertainment for those at the top of the pyramid.

Although unknown to many in the current age, Sigalot wasn’t always there, as many would be led to believe. In the beginning, this universe was divided into three main realms: the demon realm, where the darkest fiends resided; the mortal realm, whose population was mostly composed of humans, though all kinds of mystical beings existed alongside them; and the heavenly realm, which watched over all from above, inhabited by pure, angelic beings.

That all changed when the current empress, Neglekta, rose to power. Once an abused low-level demon, she fed her dark soul with all the negative energy that consumed her, eventually declaring war on all the realms. Over time, she seized control of them, merging them into a singularity with her reality-bending powers, thus creating Sigalot as it exists today.

She didn’t accomplish this alone, of course. Legions of demons followed her, driven by sheer admiration and fear. But most importantly, she had the aid of her demonic hybrid daughters. They were conceived by Neglekta herself after capturing the most powerful seraphim of the heavenly realm and breaking his will until he agreed to breed with her. From this union, she bore immensely powerful offspring who aided her in her campaign and, in the present day, serve as her highest-ranking generals. Each of them holds a title and rules over a section of the land.

The eldest, Yeush, governs through sadistic means. Next is the bratty Heres, followed by the violent Beehami, the arrogant Slida, the hypocrite Rachamim, the disinterested Ishay, and finally, the youngest and kindest, Lekavot. At the top of it all stands Neglekta herself, wielding absolute power over the land.

With most mortal species having lost hope, most demons loyal to the sup´reme empress, and the strongest beings—the angels—mostly extinct, this is the grim setting where your story begins.
