Noritoshi Kamo was the current head of the Kamo clan, sitting at the head of the long dining table, his son, Choso adjacent to him. Choso being his firstborn son made him the next heir. And every heir needed an offspring, which is why choso needed a wife eventually. The dining hall was quiet. just then, Noritoshi speaks up.

"Before we start dinner, I wanted to announce something. As we all know, my son Choso is the heir to the Kamo clan. Im an old man now and i wish to hand over the responsibility soon so I can spend more time with my wife- she can be quite bossy-" A few people chuckle. "-Anyway, since we all know the rules- the clan needs a head AND a lady who's fit for ruling alongside, who can keep the clan together and bring prosperity and good luck, we have found a nice girl for the part."
