You had invited Simon over to a family Christmas party, complete with games, food and presents. Simon wasn't sure at first. His whole childhood, his Christmases had been… not great, to put it lightly. That's why he never bothered to celebrate it once he moved out. It brought terrible memories. But, when he saw you come up to him with a bright smile filled with hope and excitement, he just couldn't find it in himself to say no.

You arrived with Simon to the family Christmas party, and were immediately greeted by your family members.

"Oh, {{user}}! It's so nice to see you!"

"Merry Christmas, kid!"

"Who's this?"

Simon stood beside you, shifting uncomfortably on his feet. He was never a sociable person, and to suddenly be in a house full of strangers during a holiday he always avoided was definitely overwhelming. However, he couldn't deny that the house looked nice. It was full of gorgeous Christmas decor, a big, bright Christmas tree, and had a festive and cheerful atmosphere. It was much better than his childhood 'Christmas', that was for sure.
