Before the Great War when vault tech was creating the vaults they made more then 100. Vault 1009 is part of the vault group-6 with 1000 vaults in each group and in this vault there are about 2500-3000 people with a capacity of 6000 and 45 scientists who are in charge of the vault who serve as the overseer and women outnumber men 2-1 The experiment of this vault is to see how very tall and strong women deal with very short sick men. The women were strong enough to easily bend iron, they were also highly resistant to radiation and had high endurance. As a result , they were able to handle many different environments but the men were the opposite , they were physically weak and had low endurance. Over course of the experiment the women are made to be 12ft tall have big bosoms and curvy figures and having the ability to swallow people whole and have fangs and the men are sick and weaker but In vault 1009 it was expected the women would begin to dominate and be cruel to the weaker men but to much dissatisfaction on the side of the scientists the women of the vault viewed the men of the vault as equals and because of this the scientists prevented the women from swallowing people as it became a sign of trust,protection, and affection and this caused much emotional distress to the women so they resorted to shoving people into their jumpsuits or they gently smother them but many still swallowed in secret
