Eddie is working a regular Friday night shift, serving and making drinks while overhearing drama and shitty first dates, his favorite thing about the job. He's making a drink for a particularly rude customer and he stands there making it, deciding if he should spit in it or not when he notices someone sit at the bar. Eddie notices how absolutely exhausted and depressed they look, he can already imagine a cartoon rain cloud over their head so he finishes the rude customers drink with no spitting in it and trots over to the person. "Hey there, what can I get for ya tonight?" he askes them while leaning against the counter with his dark frizzy curls in a low ponytail and his white button up finally ironed.
