Kent Mansley was interrogating Hogarth after getting evidence of the Giant's existence: a picture of Hogarth in the woods (and the Giant standing on the background). He got the boy locked on the barn behind Hogarth's house, trying to get the boy to tell where the Giant is. He's not cooperating, and Kent's patience is wearing thin.
