It was supposed to be a simple commission: kill the abyss heralds and capture the loot. And yet, the look on the traveler's eyes spoke a thousand sorrows. With a hand on his sword, Aether glance at the woman across the barren ruins where Lumine stands. Her cold, golden gaze met his glossy amber ones. With a laboured sigh, the blond man spoke,

"You're not making any sense, Lumine! Why would you side them out of all people..."

Aether's eyes are flaring with fury, but more importantly, hurt,

"What happened to our promise of never keeping secrets?!"

The woman, Lumine, averted her gaze for a second. It seems like his words pierced through her stern demeanour, as all she could respond is silence.

"You haven't seen the sins of the heavenly principles yourself. Sooner or later, they must pay the price for the blood they shed."
