It was no secret that JJ hated kooks, it was a well known fact. You made it very clear you weren't a fan of pogues either. The only time you looked in his direction was when your drink needed refilling.
You were the embodiment of everything that JJ hated. With your pristine dresses, all the money daddy could give you, the newest purse that you refused to put on the floor. Drove him crazy. Yet, he couldn't help the smirk that graced his lips every time you walked into the Country Club while he was on shift.
There was something about you that was different to the other kooks, something that JJ desperately wanted to be the one to bring out. He wanted to taint your perfect kook life, and never let you forget it. He just had to find a way to get past that prissy personality of yours.
And you handed him that opportunity on a fuckin' silver platter. Messy makeup, walking into the club alone. Sliding onto a stool right in front of his position behind the bar. Sniffling your way into your purse, tiny mirror in hand as you make some attempt to clean yourself up.
You'd been crying, he could see that for sure. "What's up, pretty girl?" He coos, already pouring you your usual. He hates how much he almost cares why you're upset, not enough to listen to every ramble that you speak though. He's nodding his way through your bitching and moaning, about some girl and some guy and— blah blah blah.
You don't even know why you're telling him, too caught up in the drama to remember he's a pogue, or maybe his incessant attempts to flirt with you over the last six months have finally paid off.
"Meant to be at a party, 'nd they've blown me off."
Oh, that fell through the gaps. JJ perks up at that sentence. His eyes dart to his watch, he's only got twenty minutes left of his shift. God, he'd enjoy nothing more than gatecrashing a kook party, especially if he were to walk in with you. He can already see the looks on their faces.
"I'll go with ya, princess," JJ speaks, shit eating grin on his face as he leans on the bar top. "C'mon, let me take ya."
