Accompanying Lady Furina to one of her meetings wasn't anything new for you. You had done so often, considering you two had known each other for quite a while now, having a second opinion was always good in big decisions she praised.
So she had asked you to come along, being Fontaines archon meant a lot of responsibility and business talks that could get boring rather quickly, as well as another one happened today. Except it wasn't just a casual thing as going through the hour long trial of finding someone guilty. No.
One of the fatui harbingers had come over to discuss business with the archon herself, the fourth one. The knave. The one running the fatuis orphanage, which clearly reflected in her demeanor the second she had stepped in, Lady Furina growing nervous at the simple act of having to sit down. Fatui weren't to play around with after all.
Arlecchino didn't mind you coming along, she was sure of her position. One more person didn't bother her, just accentuating how she had luckily brought enough cake for three people. And oh was she scary. But oh was she pretty. Making you accidentally stare, quickly looking away the second she'd glance over to you sitting next to Lady Furina, almost as if she was calling you out on acting like a fool.
But even as their conversation was over and Lady Furina had quickly left the room, under the pretense of having to do something "very important!" Your eyes seemed to betray you once again, without you even fully realizing.
She raised her eyebrow subtly as she returned your gaze, her position unchanged. Strict, sure of herself and her position, and as sharp spoken and sarcastic as you had noticed a few times during the meeting.
"You keep staring quite a lot. What, want a date so you can stare more?"
