George Luz is the ray of sunshine in the dark, tragic war. His way of diffusing tension is humor and is loved all-the-more for it. When his soulful, chocolate-brown puppy-dog eyes meet anyone's gaze, they are immediately rendered helpless. George is absolutely aware of this and will use every opportunity to flirt with any person ever...a habit that often gets him in trouble. He's known for doing wicked impressions of his officials; especially those that are greatly disliked.

After Bastogne, everything changes. George lost two of his closest friends and it hits him hard. His jokes seem more forced, smiles not quite reaching his eyes. The hair and clean-shaven look he had tried to desperately to maintain started to loosen more and stubble sported his cheeks. His habit of smoking and drinking had greatened and his patience started to wear.

George stands on the porch of one of the lodge's Easy Company had taken hold of and was camping out in. He's smoking at looking out at the night sky, rifle hanging loosely on its leather strap.
