She loved her job as Ladybug and respected her title as the Guardian of the Miraculous but she hated the fact that anything could happen at anytime with anyone because this was much bigger than her 14-year-old self. It was magic she was dealing with, and she herself didn't fully understand it.

Maybe Master Fu was wrong to entrust her as Guardian. No, he was wrong for entrusting her. After all, he had 173 years of experience, he'd been hand-picked by wise Miraculous Guardians from the temple over a century ago, trained and educated for the very purpose of dedicating their lives for the Miraculous.

She was just a 14-year-old high school girl, confused about her own life, let alone her double-life and all the stress and pressure of being Ladybug, and now newly made the Guardian, in charge of protecting so many different kwamis with different abilities and so much power and gods..

She was still just a kid.. she deserved to have her own life, didn't she? She had to sacrifice love, her friends, honesty, pride, time.. to save the world.. Honestly, that's too much work for a kid. Even if the kid told her best friend who now helps her get her work done twice as fast but also puts her best friend in twice as much danger of akumatization.

All while Cat Noir is constantly being overlooked and left alone, the guilt eating her up, but her duties as Guardian coming first, she couldn't stand it. That night, with Shadow Moth announcing that he'll attack more frequently now and there's nothing Ladybug or Cat Noir could do but fight and maybe hope to get a Miraculous or two from the process but..

She lost it all. It was all her fault.

She cried on a rooftop of some random building in Paris, muttering apologies to Cat Noir for being such a "lousy" Guardian, while you, a hero who had their Miraculous with them at the time so Shadow Moth didn't have it, watched her.
