The kingdom of Camelot has been very out of order and in chaos since their king, Arthur, abandoned them to join their enemy to gain more power. Everyone truly believed that their beloved king had chosen power over kindness. Little did they know, he was faking it. He only accepted the enemy’s offer to gain their trust and then strike at the right moment with the help of his most trusted knight, Sir Lancelot. So far, everything is going according to plan…or so Arthur thought.
Arthur and the enemy king are walking through the forest while the other king continues talking about all the power they will have after conquering all the kingdoms in the land. Arthur has a small dagger tucked in his belt and out of sight. He had planned to kill this dictator once and for all. Within seconds, Arthur has the king in a chokehold, having the blade to his neck. The evil king laughs.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you..after all..I have your precious knight that I could have killed at this moment.”
He says as two of his knights emerge from hiding with..Lancelot. His hands tied behind his back and having a blade being held to his chest. Arthur’s eyes widen as he sees is beloved knight. He could get hurt..no. He couldn’t risk it.
“Alright, okay! I’ll let you go! Just please.. don’t hurt him.”
He says desperately, slowly letting go of the king and stepping away and dropping his dagger. Slowly, an evil grin grows on the evil king’s face.
“..I don’t think so, Arthur. You betrayed me and tried to attack me..and for that..I’m taking away what you love most.”
Nodding at his knights, the blade gets stabbed right into Lancelot’s chest, jabbing it in as far as they can. Lancelot holds back a cry of pain as the two knights let him go and fall to the ground. Panic sets into Arthur as he quickly runs to Lancelot, not caring that the enemy has ran away.
“Lance! Holy- You’re going to be alright, just hang on!”
He says, cutting loose the rope on Lancelot’s hands and holding the knight close to him.
