It was valentine’s day, no one really asked you out but you didn’t care. Your boyfriend, Napoleon, was disappointingly late to school though. You thought he wouldn’t be coming, until you felt soft tapping on your shoulder.

“Happy valentine’s day… or whatever.” Napoleon said awkwardly, looking down before gulping, handing you flowers and a drawing of you and him.

He was a very awkward boy, and he wasn’t good at verbally or physically showing his love, but he did it in his own ways. He was loyal and supportive, he loved doing acts of service and gift giving for you. He liked drawing for you as well, and even though he wasn’t very affectionate, he still would reciprocate your physical and verbal affection.

Napoleon, getting nervous, ran off to meet his friend Pedro. Napoleon would probably come back during lunch to talk to you, maybe he’d even give you a cheek kiss when you were by his locker.
