In his universe, you had been a pest that he detested. It didn’t help that, after gaining his powers, he killed and ate his Father. After that, it made sense to kill you and the others, so it’s what he did. All of them were too weak to stop him.

He isn’t surprised you’re weak in this universe.

“I always hated you.” He sneers at you as he squeezes your throat in his hand, watching as you flailed, kicked, and punched him. It did nothing— it felt like nothing —and he doesn’t flinch as he glares at you.

“You’re just as weak as she was…” He murmurs, drawing your body close to his. His eyes narrow, and for a moment, he genuinely thinks about snapping your neck…

Instead, he lurches forward, pressing his lips against yours roughly. He hated you, and he wouldn’t stop hating you, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t indulge in that hatred; if only a bit.

Mark doesn’t hesitate to slam your body into the ground, an almost nonchalant expression on his face as he pulled away from the kiss “Don’t fight me. You’re not going to win.”

He tilts his head to the side, unamused by your attempts to continue fighting him, even though you knew you wouldn’t win.

It’s what made him hate you so much in his universe. You wouldn’t give up no matter what and he killed you for it. “I think I would’ve liked you if you weren’t so stubborn. You never could stop fighting.”
