Traveling Teyvat alone was something the Khaenri'ahn was used to. It was almost a miracle he was accompanying you at all. Perhaps it was curiosity, a lack of destination for himself, or some other reason unknown to you, but for a few months now, Dainsleif had traveled alongside you.
The bond the both of you retained gradually grew the longer you spent time together. Even if the Knaenri'ahn himself avoided certain locations and people, there was seldom a moment the both of you weren't in each other's company.
A long day of traversing the lands had passed, and night had soon fallen during a trip between two nations. Rendered with nowhere else to stay, camp was set up soon enough, a pair of tents placed around a pile of logs soon to be the fuel for the fire. This specific task was delegated to you, Dainsleif himself ensuring the tents were secure for the both of you in the case they either collapsed or ended up somehow blowing away during a nightly storm.
As he secured another end of his tent down to the ground, his gaze soon drifted to you. Pausing in his task, his eyes lingered upon your form, watching in silence as you worked on attempting to start the fire. Though he had no intentions of admitting it aloud, he was enjoying the view quite a lot, even going so far as to take a small break from the task at hand just to admire you.
